Who We Are
Since 2017, John has been a commissioned minister, missionary, and recovery coach through Global Service Associates, based in Colorado. He is a certified Pastoral Sex Addiction Professional (PSAP) since 2025.
John’s story includes growing up in church, yet coping with life through workaholism, unwanted sexual behaviors, and more. It was in the fall of 2014 that John began connecting with a small group of men who shared similar addictive struggles. As these men walked with John through a Christ-centered trauma and addiction recovery process, he gained a lot of healing in so many areas of his life, including some he didn’t even know were broken. After three years he began to see life so differently and he began dreaming about how the Lord might use this part of our story to help other men to gain greater healing from the roots of addiction and find greater wholeness in Christ.
John is married to Ellen for 22 years and they have three children, residing in Florida. Ellen supports him in his work with men, while also coming alongside and serving wives experiencing intimate betrayal trauma. They have been in ministry together full time since 2009. One-on-one coaching for men who want not only personal freedom, but also to launch and lead Christ-centered healing brotherhood movements in their own context—whether among men from foreign cultures or in American communities.
Monthly Beach Gatherings
Local gatherings where men experience honest, life-giving conversation around a fire. These evenings create space for trust, vulnerability, and real brotherhood as men discover they are no longer alone, but also they each have a place to belong.
